A HYMNS POEM: JUST LOOK UP

may we look up—
when we find 
ourselves bogged 
down beneath
the weight of
this heavy life.

because there, 
we see the glory 
of God sprinkled 
in everything—
across the sky, 
throughout the land,
in a passing face.

he is good,
and his goodness
is all around us.
