The Lord's Prayer

Sunday Services | Week Three: As It Is In Heaven | Apr 5 2020

Sunday Services

We’re so glad you’re joining us today! Even though our proximity and our time together as a church will look different through this series, we stand as unified followers with one mission under one banner of our Lord!

The sun comes up, it's a new day dawning! Take this time to be encouraged and refreshed.

Discussion Questions

1.  Jesus’s prayer is that God’s “will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” How would you describe what God’s will in heaven looks like? What is it like to live in a reality in which every portion of God’s will is exercised and made manifest? What would be different about relationships with each other? Our relationship with God?

2.  If God’s will is done on earth as it is heaven, it seems like some very deep and fundamental things would have to change about our world. What are some things that would change in the world? What are some things that would change in our community? Your family? You?

3.  The number one thing that would be challenged if God’s will was carried out would be our will. Why is it that Christians, who know God, His goodness and His power, are also nervous about giving up our will to His? What worries us? What are we tempted to believe about God in the moments of doubt? How can we combat our fear and uncertainty about God’s will in the world and in our lives? What can we do to better shape our will to match His?

To Give to Redemption Gilbert

We believe that God gives abundantly and sacrificially. Our obedient response is to be joyful and sacrificial givers to His church (2 Cor 8:9).
