Aaron Bower

Commons Pastor
About Aaron Bower

I was born in 1973 in Mesa, Arizona and was raised by two hard-working parents who gave up nearly every comfort to provide for their six children.  Our home was a safe place – one of integrity, order and discipline.  I have five older siblings.  When I was five, my grandmother insisted on buying me a piano and my parents somehow managed to scrape up the funds to put me in piano lessons.  A fun story on the discipline of our home…I remembrer a moment where my dad told me that if he ever had to practice my music, he would get a hatchet and use the wood from the piano to fire it up!  Dad is a man of his word, a point for which i extend great honor  – but I was pretty sure he wasn’t kidding, so I probably drove the family nuts with all the piano playing.

But The Lord uses everything, so he’s afforded me the opportunity to use that skill and passion for music in the Church in general, and Redemption Church in particular.   I’ve been on staff at Redemption in one capacity or another since 1998 and have enjoyed the journey immensely.

For me, the greatest joy in my many years here has been the constant illumination of the scriptures and the preaching, which has always been incredible.   Growing up with  significant residue from a holiness tradition – one where you measure your relationship to The Lord with an assessment of your own obedience to the Law – I have been challenged on a weekly basis to trust in Christ alone and lean into the hope of Christ and rejoice in the Gospel.  Jesus is my hope, and I know I offer him nothing of value.  God is satisfied in Christ alone, and I’m the recipient of his grace and favor BECAUSE of Jesus.

I have the great privilege of managing the Commons, and serving in worship ministries on a regular basis.

I’m married to Debbie Bower, my delight since 1997 and have two beautiful children, Harrison and Makenna.  We live in Chandler.

About Aaron Kass

I am an Arizona native, born & raised. Grew up playing athletics of all kinds, but devoted much of my time to golf, playing competitively through high school. It was about that time, in the wake of finding Redemption Church, that God brought me to grips with the idols of worship in my life, radically bringing clarity to the depths of my sin and my need for a Savior. From that point on, with tremendous freedom I began aiming to live all my life, for Jesus.

Within a short amount of time after that, I would meet my wife, Britney, in Redemption Youth. We would go on to date a few years before getting married in July of 2006. We have 3 children: Rylee, Rory, and Jovi.

I have attended Redemption since 1998 and have been on staff since 2004. A lot of life has happened since, but one prayer remains the same–that I may be small, so God may be made much of, and glorified.

I was born in Phoenix Arizona and raised in Chandler Arizona. My parents raised four boys and one girl, in which they did their absolute best of showing us Gods Love for us. I joined the U.S. Army active duty right out of High School back in 2009 and served for five years traveling all over the world. The military life drew me back to Arizona back in 2014 and I settled in my Gilbert home in 2015. Growing up in a Christian home taught me very important life lessons, morals, values and much more. However, I decided to follow Christ and trust his ways in 2016. To this day, God is constantly challenging me and teaching me what it means to truly be a Christian. I landed in Redemption Gilbert in the summer of 2018 and have grown spiritually and stronger in faith more than ever before. My Redemption family has been a tremendous blessing to my life and I love them dearly. I look forward to learning and growing for my Love to Christ and others in this journey that God has for me.

My father is a pastor, my fathers father was a pastor…so you could say I’ve grown up very involved in the church from the beginning. I can’t say I remember a moment when it all “clicked.” I believe God used the gift of childlike faith as well as time to draw me to Him.

I have been working full time for Redemption Church since 2007 and get to do many things, and work with many people, that I love. My hope is that everything I do here stays in the background, and yet glorifies God and blesses people. In 2015, I married my beautiful wife Alli, and life has never been sweeter. God has been gracious to me.

Scott and I were married in Palmyra, Pennsylvania on May 31, 1986.  Our oldest son Nick lives with his wife, Chelsea, outside of Pittsburgh, PA. Our son Luke and his wife, Hope, live in the valley and our son, Chris, lives in California. Having spent the first 33+ years of my life in Pennsylvania, it will always be a huge part of who I am; whether it’s my Pennsylvania Dutch heritage or my passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I grew up in the church, learning from my earliest years about my sin and need for a Savior. I gave my life to Christ at a young age and grew slowly in my faith throughout my childhood.

After moving to Arizona in 1998 with my husband and two young boys, we found Redemption Gilbert (then East Valley Bible Church).  EVBC and specifically the teaching of Pastor Tom Shrader were the vehicles God used to grow my faith deep, to see His sovereignty and experience His hand weaving all parts of my life together for His glory and for my good.

Native to Arizona, but spent my childhood living in Texas and Alabama before returning to Arizona in 1977. Mom raised us up in a Southern Baptist church and then started attending our local Air Force base church where I was involved in ministry. Even though at a young age I loved Jesus, I did not fully understand the relationship I needed to have with him, because it was still all about me and the things in the world I loved.

After marrying my husband, Justin in 1992, and having two beautiful daughters Rianna Rae and Cierra Jean, life for me became unfulfilled. Broken over my sin, God put it in my heart to diligently seek Him. He orchestrated friends and events that lead me to this church where I began to grow in my faith. I’m so bless to have a God that is loving, patient, full of grace and mercy. I love working here, because each day I get to experience what Jesus looks like through each brother and sister in Christ I serve alongside with. And I love them all!

I was born in Atlanta Georgia and attended a Baptist church growing up although I did not know Jesus as my Lord and Savior. It wasn’t until I moved across the country to Arizona and met my future wife that God began to open my eyes and heart to who He is and the depth of my sin.

I met my beautiful, fun, amazing wife Ronda on a blind date and married her in 1997. God has blessed us with two great sons Jonas and Nixon. Through conversations as to how we would raise our family, we were led to this church and we immediately began serving His people. Its through the love and grace of Jesus and His provision in our lives and our marriage that our eyes and hearts have been opened to Him.

I am married to Julie Berger. We are both native Arizonans. In fact, our dads both graduated from Coronado HS together in 1969. We have two kids, Katelyn and Tyler. We live in Chandler. We love sports, board games, and sharing our lives with our Redemption Community.

I trusted in Christ for my salvation as a 7th grader at a Scottsdale Bible Church winter camp in 1989. I was already a fairly moral kid, a good student, a pretty good athlete, and now I had Jesus. It seemed to me to be the icing on an already pretty good cake.

It wasn’t until my Junior year at Arizona State that I really started to understand the truth about who I was. It was a terrifying thought that God searches mind and heart rather than outward appearance. In my heart, I was indifferent towards God and zealous for baseball. I didn’t live for his pleasure, I lived for the approval of man. I felt like every moral act I’d ever committed was done more to keep up an appearance rather than out of service to the Lord Jesus.

I found Christian Community in ASU’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I also started to attend East Valley Bible Church with my girlfriend and Tyler Johnson, my teammate. It was there that God started to show me how the cross of Christ was way better than I had ever before imagined it to be. I’m still walking a narrow path today thanks to God’s grace and the many people in our church that walked with me, encouraged me, and taught me along the way.

Growing up in Oak Park, Illinois, God brought me to Arizona to attend ASU.  It is there where I met my wife of over 36 years, Terese.  We have two sons, Josh married to Jordan and Caleb married to Kelly.  We have three interesting, curious and active grandchildren, who are a great joy!  I currently work as an engineer for General Dynamics and have a heart for workplace ministry.

God radically transformed our hearts and lives when he brought us to East Valley Bible Church (now Redemption Gilbert), what a great blessing this church is to us!  My wife and I have a passion to encourage and mentor couples in their engagements and marriages.   For fun, we love to gather around the table, enjoy travel and play pickleball together.

One of my favorite quotes is from Randy Alcorn’s book Safely Home, is from a character named Li Quan.   Li Quan writes “Real gold fears no fire”  That is my prayer for God to refine me with fire.

Married my best friend, Kenneth, in 1992. We have four children, Lucas, Lauren, Samuel and Emily, as well as two beautiful grandchildren.

Both my husband and I grew up in a legalistic church and in our early adult lives we both left the church. We became engaged and started looking for a church to get married in. Through friends we found a church that we liked and started premarital counseling. God used this church and the pastor to save us both during this weekly counseling.

We eventually found Redemption Church to attend in 1999. God has used Redemption Church to strengthen my relationship with Him, to learn His Word and to rest in His grace and mercy.

I am an Arizona native and the youngest member of a family of four. My family and I have attended Redemption Gilbert since 2007. I graduated from Mountain Pointe High School in 2014, and graduated from GCU with a bachelors degree in Christian Studies in December of 2017. Shortly after graduating I married my wonderful wife Nicole McKenzie in April of 2018.

God gave me faith in Jesus Christ during a Redemption summer camp of 2007. But following Him was a struggle for me for many years. I led a lifestyle that was contrary to what I believed- and hid it from people.

In my first week of college God in His mercy restored the joy of my salvation, and gave me friends that helped me love and enjoy Him. Ever since, God has graciously given me joy, and removed significant sin from my life.

I love Redemption Church – it is family to me, and I love that I get to serve here.

I was born in southern California, but have also lived in Montana and Washington until my family found themselves led by God to Arizona when I was 8 years old. I don’t remember the exact age I came to know the Lord, although I do remember having a deep love for Him from a young age. My walk with Jesus has had its ups and downs, but along the way God has been beyond gracious and patient with me, which I am so grateful for.

I started attending Redemption Gilbert once I graduated high school in 2014 and immediately dove into the life and community of this church from the start. My first year at Redemption Gilbert marked one of the biggest years of spiritual growth I’ve ever had in my life. It was also the year that I felt moved by Christ to take steps towards vocational ministry. I graduated from Grand Canyon University where I got a degree in Biblical Studies and met my beautiful and lovely wife Crystal who I married in June of 2018. I love this church community and am so blessed to serve here.

Hey y’all.

That alone probably had you figuring out I’m not from Arizona. 🙂 I actually spent the first half of my life in Florence, SC, where I was born and raised. After finishing high school, I moved to Nashville, TN, to attend a small Christian college, where I graduated with a degree in Intercultural Studies + International Business. Even though I had every intention of moving overseas, Nashville ended up being home for fifteen years before I made the move out here to Arizona, just over a year and a half ago. Life has been such a grand adventure, and even though I’m not where I ever thought I’d be or doing what I’d hoped to be doing, I’m learning that life with Jesus is all that matters. No matter where I’m at or what I’m doing—All Of Life Is All For Jesus!

These are just a few of the things I love: traveling around the world, beautiful fall nights outside by a campfire or fire pit, good music, soccer & beach volleyball, tiny houses, and being outdoors hiking.

I am an Arizona native, born and raised in Tucson (yes, I am a University of Arizona alumni and an even bigger U of A Wildcat fan!) I married my high school sweet heart and best friend, Tim, in 1988 and we have five amazing children: John Michael (wife, Amber), Courtney (husband, Tyler), Chelsea, Matthew and Joshua, a beautiful granddaughter, Lauryn, and another grandbaby due to arrive. We are incredibly blessed!

I grew up in church, learning from a very early age about my sin and my need for Jesus. I was saved at a young age, and slowly grew in my faith over the years. However, by the time I was married, I felt like my faith had stalled, I was just going through the motions and going to church became more of a “to do” rather than out of a desire to seek God. (By God’s divine appointment), we moved our family to Gilbert in 2001, after my husband, Tim, accepted a job with the Gilbert Fire Department. We were invited by some friends to visit Redemption Church and this has been our church home ever since. God has used this church to grow us, challenge us, revive us, renew us, and by HIS grace, transform us!

I began serving in childcare on campus during Women’s Ministries events in the spring of 2001, and in 2008, joined Staff as part of the Children’s Ministries team. It is such a joy to have the opportunity to serve our Redemption families and to share the Gospel with children each Sunday! I am truly humbled and blessed to serve along side a wonderful team, our pastors and Godly leaders, who are passionate about the Lord!

In my free time I like giggling, dancing, artsy-fartsy stuff, listening to music, traveling, and going on walk-and-talks. I also like trying new things or participating in activities that get me out of my comfort zone.

I grew up in a loving, Christian family on the rural plains of Eastern North Dakota. I was a church kid, attending a Christian grade school, at church every Sunday and Bible Camp in the summer. At the age of 22, I married my best friend, Rachel, and in the process had to face the lack of ownership of my faith and ability to lead my new wife. I found myself face to face with my sin, my failures, and the understanding of my need for Jesus. Shortly after our wedding we moved to Arizona to start our life together. In the challenge of making a new marriage work, we found ourselves at the Gilbert congregation and quickly began to grow in in the Lord and together as couple. It has been a huge blessing to be a part of this congregation.

Born and raised in Sacramento, CA, I have always been around church. My parents would take us to church weekly, but they were very involved in our spiritual formation from a young age. There wasn’t ever a specific time that I remember the Lord drawing me to Himself, however I would say He did that over time from a very young age. All throughout my childhood, teen and college years, I was involved in choirs, worship team, assisting with youth ministry, and eventually co-leading a church-neutral young adults ministry for 8 1/2 years. Alongside young adults, I also had the privilege of leading worship for a church in the Sacramento area for 5 1/2 years.

The Lord ultimately lead me away from Sacramento to a small town called Red Rock, AZ in between Tucson and Casa Grande, where I helped launch a church with some amazing friends. But when I eventually needed a job, I found myself working for an Audio Visual company in Phoenix, AZ. I moved up to Chandler after a year and a half of helping launch Village Church, and found Redemption Gilbert when a co-worker friend of mine invited me to 7Ten, Redemption’s young adults ministry.

Ever since August of 2017, I have been serving at 7Ten on tech team, worship team, as an RC leader, and eventually on staff as a member of the Leadership Development Program, where I am continuing to learn and put into practice, that “all of life is all for Jesus!”

My story began in 1993 in Chandler, Arizona. Born to Lisa and Bill Litzau, I joined their happy family of 4. Oh yeah, and there’s also my brother Derek.

My childhood was pretty uneventful, only two trips to the hospital due to my small child brain running into things. I played all kinds of sports and never had any injuries from them though. From football to soccer to basketball to baseball, I played it all. I stopped playing sports around High School to focus on my friends and video games.

Nothing really happened in High School until my Senior Year when I found my first job. Starting at our Church (then, East Valley Bible Church) in 2010 as a community service worker. I landed a job here in Facilities after about a month. A couple of years later in 2013 I left the church to join my Dad in going to Texas. I really didn’t like Texas at all. It made me miss Arizona so much that in one year I was back, and in more than one way. I returned to where it all started for me and nothing made me feel more at home. Nine years going on 10 years, let’s see where my story goes from here!

My life was super difficult growing up but as I became a believer I understood that God doesn’t make mistakes and that everything I endured and did throughout my life led me to where I am today. I didn’t truly give my life to Christ until about six months ago. When I was saved it was a night and day kind of experience. I woke up on a Sunday morning and went to Redemption. When the service was over, God took a hold on me and I became His for good, never looking back at who I was before knowing that He paid the ultimate price so that I could be forgiven.

I am so blessed to be a part of this church and to see the way the Lord works through His people is amazing. Being a part of LDP has been such an amazing experience and I’m so excited to see where the Lord takes me. The group of people that are in the program with me are people with such vibrant personalities and push me to be a better Christian everyday which I am so grateful for. I was raised in a loving Catholic family and didn’t know Christ as my Savior. At 20 years old, an elderly couple kept asking me to go to church with them. One Sunday, I agreed. God saved me a week later. It was not the happily ever after story….But God (I love the But God) was there for me through every hard time and taught me more than I could have imagined. After many years of struggling with the difference between my Jewish upbringing and the “gospel of grace” I decided Jesus was a great teacher and prophet like Abraham or Moses. Then I read “Mere Christianity” by CS Lewis and had to decide if Jesus was Lord, liar or lunatic. After reading the New Testament and watching the lives of Christians I knew there was only one possibility that He was indeed my Lord and Savior.

Paul Artino

Lead Pastor + Elder
About Paul Artino

I’m married to Lauren and have two daughters and one son: Evangeline Love, Vera Grace, and Silas Jacob. They are my most favorite humans of all time.

After what can graciously be described as a “reckless” college career, God saved me while working as a waterski instructor/boat driver guy at a Summer Camp in Florida. My journey has included working in construction, marketing and advertising, oyster shucking (seriously), as a children’s pastor and as a pastor to college students and young adults.

I currently serve as Lead Pastor at Redemption Gilbert, and when I’m not around Redemption Gilbert, you can find me at home being sneak-attacked by my kids, posting up my interns on the basketball court, or wandering around the out-of-doors.

Rachel Olimb

Community Life Director
About Rachel Olimb

I grew up in a town of 300 people in rural North Dakota. As God would have it, so did my best friend since 9th grade and my future husband, Jeremy. We were so excited to get married in 2000, and just about as excited to pack up a UHAUL and begin our lives together in the sunny state of Arizona. We had the entire state to choose the location of our first apartment in, and of course God orchestrated a million circumstances for us to land one mile away from this church.

We have been at now Redemption Church for 20 years, and are forever grateful for how God has shaped and molded us through the teaching and the community of friends here that have become our family. I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to work on staff with Children’s Ministries for 10 years, the Communications team, and now am blessed to be working as the Community Life Director at our church that I love so much.

About Randy Heape

God introduced me to my wife, Alice 38 years ago. We were a blind date. I married a Christian girl, and I thought I was a Christian, but God revealed to me that I was a “fence-sitter”. I moved my family from Southern California to Gilbert, AZ to help start a business, “our way”. But God, instead, started it “His Way”. I was invited to attend a Priority Living business breakfast. It was there that God in His way exposed me for who I was and created a desire to know Him on a personal level.

We’ve been attending Redemption Church for 20 years. We were blessed with a son, Spencer. He is a product of Redemption’s Student Ministries. Alice and I have served in children’s ministries, student ministries, and newly marrieds. The RC group we attend has driven me to a deeper relationship with Jesus. Now I get to serve the staff at Redemption. I am truly blessed.

Leadership Development Program
About Ray Diaz

I was born and raised in Southern California. After completing four years of active-duty military service, God led me to move to Mesa, Arizona. While In the military, I gave my heart to Christ on February 27, 2017. To this day, that has been the best decision I have made thus far. Led by a Chaplain that once pastored at Redemption, and now my mentor James Walker, I found myself at Redemption in August of 2020. Since the initial moment of
walking into 7Ten, a little less than 7 months ago, and being greeted by everyone in such a loving way, I knew I wanted to be a part of this community.

I am now an Intern, and a part of the Leadership Development Program with Redemption Gilbert. I am ecstatic to be a part of a church that loves and embraces everybody. Currently, I attend Arizona State University in pursuit of a BS in Information Technology. In my free time I love to watch, cover, play, and report on all sports. My favorite teams are the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

About Ronda Osborne

While still a newlywed, I started to think about what I would tell my kids about God. Which led to what I believed about Him. Those questions are exactly what He used to draw me to Himself. Around this time, I was invited to a Bible study where those questions I had about God, the world, humanity and myself started to be answered. Coming to the Lord in faith in the Spring of 1998 changed absolutely everything!

Redemption Church was the vehicle God used to grow my faith deep. It’s where I met my “In Christ” family and friends. I am continually in awe of His love, provision and His faithfulness toward me. Even before I knew Him, He was there…always there.

I have been married to my awesome husband Brett since 1997. We have two amazing sons, Jonas and Nixon.

I was born in South Korea and adopted by my loving parents at 4 months of age. I am the oldest of 4 with three younger brothers. I was saved at quite a young age and am continually giving my life for Jesus and His plan for me. In the fall of 2016 I met my handsome fiancé, Josh. A few years later in the fall of 2018, Josh and I started attending Redemption Gilbert and immediately felt a pull into serving and getting connected.

I am currently working on getting my nursing degree at Gateway Community College and also work part time at Banner Baywood as a nurses aide. Josh has his doctoral degree in physical therapy and works full time in Casa Grande! Josh and I have been together for four years and will be getting married in May of 2021!

I am so thankful for this Leadership Program and for the friendships that I have gained. I am excited to see where God is leading me and how this program will help to further His kingdom!

About Sarah Verdugo

I have gone to Redemption Gilbert for my entire life, it  has felt like home to me for the longest time, and it’s through Redemption Youth that I was able to understand my true need for a Savior. I became a Christian the summer before my eighth grade, and I have been growing in my relationship with God ever since. Through the highest valleys and most difficult times in my life, He has proven to be fully sovereign. I have learned through various experiences how much better His plans are for me, I am so excited for Him to finish the various works He’s begun within me.

I am a part of a family of five, and I’m a middle child (Everything they say about the difficulties of a middle child are true by the way :)). I’m currently studying at GCU, majoring in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education, and want to teach Kindergarten once I graduate. I love kids, so I am very happy to be a part of Children’s Ministries and pour into the lives of children the same way that I was, after all, most of the women I now work with have known me my whole life and loved me so well as a kid!!

Sean Warren

Communities + Guest Services Pastor
About Sean Warren

To know me, is to know my family. My mother and father, born in the depression era, modeled quiet servanthood to their family, friends, church, and community. They had 6 children of which I am the youngest. I observed the burdens they carried in life and their love and confidence in Jesus. Those burdens and their love have shaped me into the person I am today. Abuse, addiction, and incarceration touched the lives of some of my siblings. This gave me a perspective and sense of compassion, at an early age, to the struggles and fears of this life.

I knew that I wanted to help people myself, but didn’t know exactly how. I attended a Christian college, where I met my best friend Jill. We married, and served domestically and internationally in ministry, but God had an alternate and unexpected path for us to take. It was only upon moving to Arizona that we really understood that “All of life is all for Jesus” and there is no distinction between the secular and the sacred. ALL IS SACRED. This truth has profoundly impacted and liberated us, and we are striving to instill it deeply into our 4 great kids, Sophia, Lola, Isabella, and Keifer (my man cub).

My husband Roger and I married in 1988 and have two amazing kids – son Cory and daughter Jordan. Cory is a 2018 graduate of ASU in Finance and works for Northern Trust. Jordan is in the Mary Lou Fulton Teacher’s College at ASU and is planning a career as a bi-lingual elementary educator! We’re almost “empty nesters”, as Cory is on his own and Jordan is never home! LOL!! And we’re kinda liking it!!

I have been attending Redemption since 2001.  I always thought I was a believer (grew up in a “mixed marriage” of a Methodist mom and Catholic dad). It wasn’t until I started attending Women’s Ministry and serving in the kitchen that I realized I WASN’T saved! Good Friday, 2001 found me on my knees, blubbering like an idiot realizing the magnitude of my sin and in awe that He would send His only son for ME! I haven’t looked back!

I love serving the women of Redemption. My passion comes from the fact that it was through this ministry that God saved me! I look forward to what He has in store for me and the women of Redemption!

I married my best friend Paul, when I was 19 and shortly there after found out I was pregnant. Through a new and difficult season of life, God brought my husband and I, two un-churched people to Redemption Church in 1996.  God took my heart of rebellion and stone and broke me. I am thankful now for the circumstances he used to bring me to my knees and see my need for a savior.  God was so good to save my husband and I during the same season.  He grew us together in Him and knit our hearts close as husband and wife.  We’ve been married since 1996 we have 3 crazy kids and a home full of laughter!  I couldn’t be more grateful for the family God has entrusted to me, the grace he fills me with to love them everyday and a sense of humor for the moments when I am weak.

About Susan Miller

I have been married to my wonderful husband Lloyd since 1990. We have 4 grown children and 5 beautiful grandchildren who we adore. All are here in Arizona as well.

Lloyd and I are both originally from California. We moved to AZ in 1997 due to the recession and Lloyd’s business in construction plumbing. We found Redemption Church shortly after and this has been our church home since.

I began as a volunteer at the church in 1997, then joined the staff in 2000 in Women’s Ministries. When the church expansion including the Conference Center took place 5 years later I became the Campus Coordinator. Through all of our changes and transitions over the years, I count it a great blessing to serve and be part of the Redemption Church staff. We are so blessed to have such a gifted, devoted, godly group of leaders at this church. I am thankful to work along side of them.

About Susan Timpani

By God’s grace, He saved me as a teen involved in my High School’s Young Life program. I am overwhelmed by His goodness as He has grown and shaped me through the decades of work, marriage and parenting the wonderful children we’ve been given. Raising our children in Gilbert, we eventually made our way to Redemption Church. The sovereignty and grace of God became our life’s anchor and our family flourished in the rich teaching, serving and fellowship environment. One of the great experiences and privileges of my life, has been to be on staff at Redemption Church. Through my ten years as a part of the Children’s Ministry team, I have seen God work in and through the Godly leaders and pastors that guide our congregation. It’s a tremendous blessing to have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with children each Sunday!

Native to the NW, I became a desert dweller, along with my terrific husband Pat, when we married in 1986 and moved to Arizona. Our children, Ryan, Mark and Katie are a true gift. We are looking forward to the great joy that our first grandchild will bring, due Fall 2015 to Mark and Brie.

About Tracey Prim

I was born in Columbus Ohio, but i don’t know much about Columbus – my father was in the Air Force and we lived in the locations that he was stationed at: Florida, Philippines, New Mexico and Arizona. I am the fifth child out of seven – 3 brothers and 3 sisters (of course, I am the favorite).

I have been married to my husband for 25 years, we have 4 adult children all who live out of state. We have truly been blessed to have traveled to 13 different countries – and have lived in the Philippines (4 years) and Korea (3.5 years).

We have also spent time volunteering while living in Korea through The American Women’s club and the 8th Army Base on Yongsan.

After moving to Arizona, we started attending Redemption Gilbert (then East Valley Bible Church) in 1998, under Tom Shrader’s teaching. I started volunteering in the Children’s Ministries in 2003 with the Preschool age children. While volunteering in the Children’s Ministries, Jesus got a hold of my heart in the 4/5 year old classroom and He revealed the Gospel to me through the eyes of a child. “But Jesus said,”Let the children come to me, don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children”.

Shortly after that I became a part of Staff in 2005. I am currently involved in Angel Tree, our Prison Fellowship Ministry and Redemption Women.

Tyler Hudgins

Leadership Development Program + 7Ten Intern
About Tyler Hudgins

I am married to my wife Kelsey, and we have a “starter-kid” in our family. He is an affectionate and energetic golden retriever named Red  — we’re learning a lot over here.

Kelsey and I met at 7TEN, the young adult ministry. We currently serve in 7TEN as RC leaders and it remains my ministry focus as a member of staff.

My story is one of an atheist that rejected God. I lived a life of being self-actualized and independent. This all changed when a tragic experience in my life made me feel completely powerless over my circumstances — upon reflection that was God’s grace to bring me to that point. I felt God pulling me towards him in a feeling that was unmistakably like a tugging of my soul. For the first time, I realized my need for dependency on someone much greater than myself and I found that in the person of Jesus.

I am pursuing a Masters Degree at the Missional Training Center (MTC) in Missional Theology. My hope is to get equipped in pastoral ministry, so I can become a teaching pastor and love people well.
