A number of opportunities and ways to be a part of Redemption Gilbert.
A Tuesday night gathering of young adults (18-30ish) that come together to worship, explore the Word of God, and connect with one another. We desire that this would be a catalytic moment that creates movement towards Gospel-centered community.
We want to help those who are hurting find healing and hope in Jesus. We want to help those who need guidance find purpose and wisdom in God's word. We want all people to experience God's grace applied to their lives.
We strongly believe that all members of the body of Christ are sent people, called to proclaim and demonstrate the gospel to the world. Therefore our community and global efforts should never be limited to structured programs. However, in response to the needs in our community, and God's heart for the nations, we do build global partnerships and facilitate opportunities to participate in God's mission of blessing the nations in Christ.
There is an orphan crisis around the world. Children who have lost parents, been abandoned by parents, or been taken out of dangerous environments, are in need of stable homes and loving families. Therefore we, the people of God, must lead the way in recognizing this great need and stepping up to meet it.
We believe that parents are called to be the primary spiritual leaders of their children and so we strive to support them however we can. Parents are free to bring their children into the worship service or drop them off in Redemption Kids - a safe, fun, bible-centered environment for children.
The youth are an important and integral part of the body of Christ and we recognize that the teenage years can be some of the most challenging and formative in a person's life. We support parents by providing a community that values teenagers and models the truth of God's Word and the beauty of His Kingdom.
We believe that God designed us to be in relationship with one another and that there is simply no substitute for doing life with others in a shared pursuit of honoring God. Redemption Communities provide a context for people to live out their faith in the support, accountability, and stretching that is inherent in community.
We are a sent people. As the church we are not called to turn inward and build our own kingdom. We are called to turn outward and give ourselves to the spread of the Gospel, the establishment of healthy local churches, and the multiplication of disciples. This is a call to invest beyond our church, beyond our tribe, and beyond our generation. We don’t care who gets the credit, only that Jesus is glorified.
