covid-19, salt

March 27, 2020

Good morning Salties,

I hope this new day finds you well. I received this reminder from a friend, it’s good stuff.

By Christopher Holownia, Jesuit Scholastic

May we who are merely inconvenienced remember those whose lives are at stake. May we who have no risk factors remember those most vulnerable.
May we who have the luxury of working from home remember those who must choose between preserving their health or making their rent.
May we who have the flexibility to care for our children when their schools close remember those who have no options. May we who have to cancel our trips remember those that have no place to go. May we who are losing our margin money in the tumult of the economic market remember those who have no margin at all. May we who settle in for a quarantine at home remember those who have no home.

By the way, it’s been so encouraging to see a few of our Salt folks stopping by the church to drop off their giving checks. If you feel uncomfortable with coming by the church or if we are told to stay home you might want to establish an online scheduled giving account. I did this some time ago and now I’m assured my giving is done whether I remember or not.

You simply go to pushpay.com/pay/redemptiongilbert select set up recurring and enter the necessary info.

As usual the office is closed today (Friday) but I’ll be working off and on from home so don’t hesitate to respond to this email if you have a question or a need.

Yours in Christ, Neil
