It is our desire to help you get connected with other people on the same journey and for you to begin building relationships that will help make Redemption Gilbert your home.

We want to help you in finding a deeper connection to Redemption Gilbert. We believe that there are some key, foundational concepts that will allow healthy growth to happen in your life.

Our adult discipleship team invites you to be a part of a Launch Point Community that will help you find your place here and belong. It is a 4-week, pastor-led small group experience that meets on campus on Sunday mornings where childcare is available for your convenience.

CHURCH MEMBERSHIP

Membership provides a way to determine who is committed to the mission, doctrine, and values of Redemption Gilbert – our local expression of the body of Christ.

Such delineation is not meant to be elitist or divisive. It is not meant to create different classes within the body. Rather, it simply recognizes that there are people within any expression of the body of Christ at varying levels of commitment – and that’s okay.

But as an intentional community with a mission and purpose, it is helpful to know who is committed and who is simply curious.

WHERE CAN I SERVE?

As followers of Christ we are called to be humble servants of one another (Gal. 5:13; 1 Pet. 4:10; Phil. 2:1-7). And where the people of God respond to meet the needs of others around them, the church thrives.

We have a variety of needs in the church that continually arise, and we depend on our volunteers. Often the strongest community is built among those who serve shoulder to shoulder together. Join us!

Opportunities To Serve

BAPTISM

“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. “—Romans 6:4

Baptism, is an outward expression of this inward transformation. It symbolically portrays a Believers identification with the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It proclaims to all that we have died to our old self and now live in the freedom of new life in Christ as a forgiven child of God and devoted follower of Jesus.

Baptism follows the example set by Jesus, found in Mark 1:9. Our new life with new priorities and passions expressed in ministry also begins with an act of obedience in being baptized.
