Each Redemption Church congregation is led by a team of local elders and staff. The unified body of Redemption (all congregations) is overseen by a Leadership Team.
Lead Pastor + Elder
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that our being resolved in truth and radical in love would make Jesus famous through everything we do with our lives.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 15 years. I’m husband to Lauren and dad to Evangeline Love, Vera Grace and Silas. I grew up on the ocean, so surfing, fishing, and water sports were the game. Now, it’s hunting or anything outdoors, hangs with the fam, and trying not to pull a hammy on the court in pick up basketball.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we would help all who call this their church home to be a reflection of Jesus and a light to our community because His life, His ministry and His love is our primary focus and highest priority. That together we would first seek His Kingdom and His righteousness then let Him take care of the rest.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 21 years. Kate and I were married in 1977 in Salem, MA. We have a daughter Cali who is married to Chris and living in Seattle with our first grandchild Ori. I was raised in a Jewish family while Kate was raised Catholic. We were both saved right after marrying. I have been serving in pastoral ministry since 1989. I enjoy studying and teaching the Old Testament. I play a little golf and love watching most every sport. I’m trying pickle ball but rather poorly.
My hope and prayer is that we continue to hold to our Biblical doctrines and live out these truths in our everyday life. The Gospel needs to transform the way we love.
I have been an Elder at Gilbert for 13 years. Growing up in Oak Park, Illinois, God brought me to Arizona to attend ASU. It is there where I met my wife of over 38 years, Terese. We have two sons, Josh married to Jordan and Caleb married to Kelly. We have three interesting, curious and active grandchildren, who are a great joy! I currently work as an engineer for General Dynamics and have a heart for workplace ministry.
God radically transformed our hearts and lives when he brought us to East Valley Bible Church (now Redemption Gilbert), what a great blessing this church is to us! My wife and I have a passion to encourage and mentor couples in their engagements and marriages. For fun, we love to gather around the table, enjoy travel (especially to Rocky Point) and play pickleball together.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we would be known as people who had been with Jesus—we would reflect His truth and love to a dark and lost world.
I have been an elder at Gilbert for 11 years. I’ve been married for 40 years to Kathi. We have 3 adult children, and 5 grandkids, with one on the way. I was saved at East Valley Bible Church (now Redemption Church) in 1993 and have called Redemption home ever since. I’ve had a small construction company since 1979, which my son now runs. I love fly fishing, flying, pickleball, and tennis.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that it will continue to be a light and blessing to the community, and that we will continue to teach God’s word without compromise, and that He receives all the glory, honor, and praise.
I have been an elder at Gilbert for 7 years. I’ve been married to my best friend, Ann, for 42 years. We are blessed to have four children and ten grandchildren (all living in the East Valley). I work for Western Foodservice Equipment & Design where I am involved in designing and equipping commercial food service facilities. We have attended Redemption Gilbert, formerly East Valley Bible Church, since the first Sunday in November, 1991. We have served in various age groups with children’s ministries over the years. We also enjoyed serving 15 years in the music and worship ministry, and have hosted, lead, or co-lead RC groups for the past 26 years. When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, spending time in the mountains, reading, and hanging with the family.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we would be a faithful outpost of the kingdom of God in our community.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 17 years. My wife Rachel and I grew up on the vast plains of rural North Dakota. We moved to Arizona and began attending this church in the summer of 2000 and have established our life and family here. We have three sons, Asher, Paxon, who we lost in infancy, and Beck. I love board games and backpacking.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is to be a faithful witness of Jesus … loving people through a commitment to the truth and a demonstration of His empathy, compassion and grace.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 21 years. I was born in Ohio and grew up in the midwest aside from a short 2 year stint in NJ. Married my best friend Jen in 1998. Our son Micah was born in 2001 and our daughter Maddie in 2002. I enjoy camping, hiking, tools, guns, music, tv/movies, food, exercise and anything with my family.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that our faith will not be shaken even when the world quakes.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 5 years. My wife and I have been in formal ministry for nearly 20 years ranging from inner city rescue ministry to cross cultural ministry overseas. “All of Life is All for Jesus” is one of our favorite quotes and serves as a North Star for all we endeavor to do. I enjoy collecting historical photographs, documentaries, travel, and storytelling.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that our people would have such a real encounter with King Jesus that he becomes our first love. I pray that the fruit of this encounter is a radical love for one another, especially in our homes and families, and a grace that extends into our neighborhoods.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 14 years. Julie and I were married at this church in 2001. We have two kids. Katie is studying biology at GCU and Tyler is a musician and actor attending Hamilton High School. We live in Chandler. I like coffees with Julie, anything that involves being with my kids, sitting around the fire with friends, going to my kids performances, and mowing my lawn.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that she would be like a river flowing through the desert. Wherever it flows it would bring life and flourishing to the people that God brings to her. I want us to faithfully disciple and walk out what it means to live all of life all for Jesus.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 1 1/2 years. I am a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and I am currently enrolled in the Missional Training Center here in Arizona through Covenant Theological Seminary. Lately, I have enjoyed going on walks with my family, eating meals with people, and watching the great British baking show with my wife. I have been married to my best friend Kari for 2 years now. We have the cutest baby in the world, and her name is Felicity. I like to listen to podcasts, Read books, hangout with friends and family, and listen to music.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we would be family that expresses our love for Jesus by serving one another, our city, and our world.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 7 years. I was born in southern California, but have also lived in Montana and Washington until my family found themselves led by God to Arizona when I was 8 years old. I started attending Redemption Gilbert once I graduated high school in 2014 and immediately dove into the life and community of this church from the start. My first year at Redemption Gilbert marked one of the biggest years of spiritual growth I’ve ever had in my life. It was also the year that I felt moved by Christ to take steps towards vocational ministry. I graduated from Grand Canyon University where I got a degree in Biblical Studies and met my beautiful and lovely wife Crystal who I married in June of 2018. I love this church family and am so blessed to serve here. I love to go on walks and hikes with my wife, play pick up basketball with my friends, and enjoy quality time with family and friends anywhere that might be!
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that our leaders would continue to pursue faithfulness to the Lord and to leading under the wisdom of His word above all – and that our congregation would deeply desire to live lives committed to loving God, His word, and seeking to search ways to that fuel our love for neighbor.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 24 years. I’ve been married to my wonderful wife Debbie since 1997. The Lord has blessed our home with a lot of laughter and two amazing children – Harrison and Makenna. I love going to coffee shops and trying new coffee. Any time I travel there’s always a subtext of “try new coffee” on the agenda. Otherwise, I just love spending time with family and friends.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we would be faithful before the throne of Jesus.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 7 years. I grew up in a Christian household, and when I was around the age of 13, God gave me faith in Jesus Christ. I wandered and struggled for many years, but when I got to college, God renewed my faith in Jesus and gave me joy in Him. In April of 2018 I got married to the love of my life Nicole McKenzie, and in April of 2021 we had our first daughter, Lamai Grace. I love music, sports, and video games.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that I may be small, so God may be made much of, and glorified.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 17 years. I am an Arizona native, born & raised. I grew up playing athletics of all kinds, but devoted much of my time to golf, playing competitively through high school. It was about that time, in the wake of finding Redemption Church, that God brought me to grips with the idols of worship in my life, radically bringing clarity to the depths of my sin and my need for a Savior. From that point on, with tremendous freedom I began aiming to live all my life, for Jesus. Within a short amount of time after that, I would meet my wife, Britney, in Redemption Youth. We would go on to date a few years before getting married in July of 2006. We have 3 children: Rylee, Rory, and Jovi. I love golf, video games, lawn mowing, stress watching the Arizona Cardinals, and movie/tv watching.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is to continue to pursue and love the Lord with all their heart, soul and mind. That redemption Gilbert may also love their neighbors as themselves. I know it’s very basic and simple but, if we continue to do this, God will do the rest.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for almost a year. I am the second oldest of 5 children. My parents moved to El Paso, TX, early of 2020 to pursue their calling of planting a church. After serving in the Army active duty for five years, God blessed me with a beautiful home in Gilbert to where I have happily been at. I am involved in several church ministries but, when I am not doing that, I like to have game nights and spend quality time with friends. I enjoy playing pickleball, running and hiking.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we would be continually transformed into the image of Christ and that the reflection of His love to us and through us would be a light that draws people to the saving hope found only in Him.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 17 years. I’m a Pennsylvania native, married to Scott since 1986 and moved to Arizona in 1998 with our two sons, Nick and Luke. In 2010 we added to our family by adopting another son, Chris. Nick and his wife, Chelsea, live outside of Pittsburgh, PA; Luke and his wife, Hope, live outside of Dallas, TX and Chis lives in Pensacola, FL. Being “empty nesters” takes on a whole new meaning when your children all leave the state, so we adjusted by getting a dog and naming him “Rooney” after the owners of the Pittsburgh Steelers (our all time favorite team). I love reading, crafting and repainting furniture in my home. My business, Creations by Beth, gives me the opportunity to combine the things I love- creativity, scripture and hymns. It’s also important to note that I am a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that the Holy Spirit continues led this church body to live all of life is all forJesus. And to be a place where the broken see the face of Jesus Christ to were we begin to decrease in ourself and increase in all of His goodness.
I have been on staff for 12 years. I came from a military family and was born in Mesa, AZ, have lived in Texas, and Alabama, before returning to Arizona. I was married in 1992 to my husband Justin and later had our first daughter Rianna in 1996, then 3 years later our youngest Cierra in 1999. We are an outdoor family—enjoy camping, fishing, and spent many years on the sideline rooting our girls as they were involved in years of Club, High School, and College Soccer.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we would be known as a church that loves deeply and serves sacrificially. A church that teaches the gospel of Jesus Christ and does not waver on our dependence on His grace and mercy in our lives. A church that is intentional and faithful in our service to the least, last and the lost in our community.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 8 years. I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia but have been in Arizona for over 25 years. I am blessed to be married to an amazing woman Ronda and we have 2 sons—Jonas Caden and Nixon Jude. I enjoy backpacking, hiking, college football on Saturdays, and landscaping.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that this campus would continue to be a place where people feel loved, valued, cared for and equipped to share the Gospel.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 14 years. I am a native Arizonan, and am married to the best guy in the world! We have 3 boys, all adults now, and the most amazing grandchildren. We feel incredibly blessed and grateful. I love motorcycles/quads, hiking, swimming, jogging, music, and shopping for strange props at Goodwill.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that people will learn about God’s word and experience grace and mercy like I have received while attending here for 22 years.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 8 years. I was born and raised in Northern NY, near the Canadian border, and moved to Arizona to attend ASU where I received a degree in Elementary Education. I have been married to Kenny for almost 30 years. We had four children in five years named Lucas, Lauren, Samuel and Emily. We have two grandchildren. I love to take walks, exercise, watch documentaries and go to the movies.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we would be a place of refuge, a place of hope, and a place of peace for all in our community as we make much of the name of Jesus.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for a little over two years. I spent the first half of my life in Florence, SC, where I was born and raised. After finishing high school, I moved to Nashville, TN, to attend a small Christian college, where I graduated with a degree in Intercultural Studies + International Business. Even though I had every intention of moving overseas, Nashville ended up being home for fifteen years before I made the move out here to Arizona, just over two years ago. Life has been such a grand adventure, and even though I’m not where I ever thought I’d be or doing what I’d hoped to be doing, I’m learning that life with Jesus is all that matters. No matter where I’m at or what I’m doing—All Of Life Is All For Jesus! I love traveling around the world, random road trips with friends, beautiful fall nights outside by a campfire or fire pit, good music, soccer, beach volleyball, tiny houses, and being outdoors hiking.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we continue to glorify God in all we do, and people will know us by how we love one another.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 19 years. I was born in Indiana (go Hoosiers), and was married until the Lord took Jessie home. We have a beautiful daughter, who is married with 3 beautiful kids. Grandkids are the best. I love hiking—whether it’s hiking the Grand Canyon, Humphreys Peak or Usery Pass—as long as I’m outdoors.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that it continues to be a church that speaks God’s truth, that loves others deeply and that Christ would be magnified in all that we do.

The Lord has placed upon my heart a passion for Church Ministry and Global Outreach. Some of my hobbies include: traveling, hiking, kayaking, pickleball and volleyball!
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is to love, obey, and have faith like Jesus.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 7 months. I am an only girl with three brothers, disturbing most peaceful settings with my laughter. I was born in Jersey before moving to Chandler where I grew up. I love traveling, eating, dancing, walking, reading, pickleballing, and online window shopping.
I grew up in the heart of the midwest just outside of Chicago with my now-husband + best-friend Matt. We met in 1987 and married in 1998. Shortly after we married we moved out west and found our new home at Redemption Gilbert. We have two incredible kids: Micah + Madison.
At age thirteen, Jesus saved me. The overwhelming grace that I’ve been “forgiven + loved much” by Jesus has burned into me a desire to live as best I can, an open-handed life to “love much”…with everything I’ve got (Luke 10:27) including whatever creative talent God has seen fit to gift me with. I’m a photographer, visual storyteller, teacher, designer and creative and have been intentionally creating since June of 2008.
Leadership Development Program + Production Associate
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is seeing the people of our church (including my own life) to look, behave and act more like Christ, as we wait for the restoration of His kingdom. All of life is all for Jesus!
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 7 months. I was born in Sacramento, CA. I was raised in a Christian family, and am the oldest of four siblings. At age 30, I moved out to Arizona to help a friend start a church in Red Rock, and after a year and a half, moved up to the east valley because my job at the time was located in Chandler. I found 7Ten at Redemption and immediately got plugged in. Ever since then, I have been assisting in ministry to the young adults by leading an RC and worship, and after joining the Leadership Development Program, I quickly got a role in production. My story is a series of ups and downs, but I have firmly believed that nothing happens by accident, and everything is for God’s glory and our good. I try to live my life in that hope and look forward to seeing my Lord some day! I love video games, playing softball, hanging out with my dog, flying planes and playing/writing music.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is to make this a home for everyone who wants it.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 10 years. I am Arizona born and raised. I’ve been coming to Redemption Gilbert since late 2010—it’s like a second home to me. Everyone here is like a brother and sister to me, and I’ve been in love with this place ever since. My mom was apart of the church before me and actually gave me the idea and opportunity to work here. I love chess, video games, card games, trading card games, board games, and watching football.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we would continue to grow into a family of different people who love and follow Jesus.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for almost a year. I am the second oldest of seven kids, with three brothers and three sisters. God really has changed the whole direction of my life and i really couldn’t be more thankful. Where I grew up, most kids didn’t have both parents present in their lives, but I’m blessed enough to have both biological parents and two step parents. I love sports, playing basketball, working out, shoes, reading, and traveling.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is renewed strength and healing.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 6 years. I’m married to Rick and we have three kids, Josh, Sarah, and Tess. I was born and raised in AZ, and we have been attending Redemption Gilbert since 1997. I LOVE to cook and bake. My most favorite hobby would be hanging out with my family.
My biggest hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is a greater understanding, less fear and more compassion towards our special needs population.

I love to go biking, hiking and kayaking. I also enjoy gardening. Card making and craft projects are also relaxing and fun!
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we love people like Jesus loves.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for almost 25 years. I was born, raised, and married in Massachusetts. In 1979 we moved our little family to Wisconsin where we spent 18 years before moving to Arizona. My husband, Jack, and I were married in 1974, have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. We love to adventure and take long road trips yearly. I enjoy the beach, yardwork, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that God would continue to use Redemption Gilbert to love the broken and hurting just as we all have been called to do.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 11 years. I was born and raised in Gilbert, AZ. My wife, Dani, and I have been serving this church since we were students. We have 2 boys, Keegan and Jace. I enjoy watching movies with my wife, lounging around the house with the boys, and I really enjoy playing video games.
I grew up in a town of 300 people in rural North Dakota. As God would have it, so did my best friend since 9th grade and my future husband, Jeremy. We were so excited to get married in 2000, and just about as excited to pack up a UHAUL and begin our lives together in the sunny state of Arizona. We had the entire state to choose the location of our first apartment in, and of course God orchestrated a million circumstances for us to land one mile away from this church.
We have been at now Redemption Church for 20 years, and are forever grateful for how God has shaped and molded us through the teaching and the community of friends here that have become our family. I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to work on staff with Children’s Ministries for 10 years, the Communications team, and now am blessed to be working as the Community Life Director at our church that I love so much.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we would be a place for both the lost and the found, and that we would live out Revelation 7:10—that every nation, tribe, & tongue would feel welcomed and comfortable to worship in this place.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for almost a year. I am originally from Ontario, CA, and moved out to Mesa, AZ in August 2020. I am 23 years of age, and served in the military for 4 years. I was deployed twice to Korea & Germany. I have been a believer since 2017 & am so blessed to be part of a church that holds strong to the truth of the Gospel. I love sports—predominately football, basketball and UFC. I love technology, and have worked in the IT industry for 5 years. My favorite teams are the Lakers, Packers, & Dodgers or Angels.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we would be a place where people can come and experience the love of God through His family and feel safe, loved, valued and seen.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for almost a year. I am married to my handsome husband, Joshua Kennedy. We have a cute kitten named Rosie and have been attending Redemption for about 4 years now. I am adopted from South Korea and absolutely love learning more about where I am from. I love to serve here at Redemption with 7TEN, Youth and Worship and absolutely love being a part of the staff here. God is so good and has shaped and molded me throughout the past few years. I am currently receiving my Bachelor’s in Healthcare Coordination at Arizona State University and look forward to continue working here on staff as the HR Coordinator. I love hiking, traveling, and singing.
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we show the love of Jesus not only in what we say but what we do, never forgetting His love for us!
I have been on staff at Gilbert for almost 11 years. I met my handsome husband while finishing college at the University of AZ – GO WILDCATS! We have known each other since 1983 and married since 1988! We have 2 wonderful kids/young adults, both of whom graduated from ASU – ya, we’re a house divided!! Our son is a financial analyst for APS and our daughter is a First Grade Teacher in a Title 1 school in Mesa! We also have an adorable “granddog” – Golden Retriever named Winston! My family is from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Roger’s family is from Northern Indiana. Having studied Spanish in high school, I have always had a love for the language AND the people of Mexico. We have recently acquired a month long condo in our beloved San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico. The beach is my happy place, but when we’re not there, you might find us camping or riding our four-wheelers and side-by-side in the Imperial Sand Dunes near Yuma, AZ. We also LOVE movies and watching our beloved AZ sports teams – The Suns, The Cardinals, The Diamondbacks AND The Coyotes!!!
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that this church would be a good and faithful witness to the amazing works of Jesus so that, all people would not only feel seen and loved, but actually experience it through the people of the church. That as we stay committed to teaching the scriptures, dependent on the Holy Spirit and surrounded by God’s people, we would grow to look more like Jesus.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 12 years. I’ve been married to my husband Paul since 1998. We have 3 amazing kids and a home full of laughter! I couldn’t be more grateful for the family God has entrusted to me, the grace he fills me with to love them everyday and a sense of humor for the moments when I am weak. I love traveling to new cities, walking the streets and enjoying local food. I’m also a photographer so being able to photograph people and new places is a total joy! I love baking and drinking coffee…is that a hobby?
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that we would grow in unity as our love for Jesus grows, resulting in the outpouring of love + care for others in our neighborhood and community, and that our church would be a place where truth is never compromised but grace is experienced in a real way.
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 16 years. I grew up in the beautiful Pacific NW but have grown to love the desert after moving to the Valley when Pat and I married 35 year ago. We have three terrific kids and a beautiful DIL (Ryan, Mark+Brie, and daughter Katie), and three special grandchildren. It’s a blessing to have all of them living in the Phoenix area! Our kids grew up at Redemption Gilbert (earlier EVBC) so pursuing the legacy of sowing Jesus’ Truth+Love into young lives is so important to our family. God continues to graciously grow us and transform us into His vessels, giving us opportunities to testify to His faithfulness to the next generation! I love food, reading, spending time with family, friends, plus all-things-Grammie-related!
My hope and prayer for Redemption Gilbert is that the vision of our founding pastor never dies. I pray we “keep in the water—come, learn, serve and always be looking for your replacement” (words from our founding pastor, Tom Schrader).
I have been on staff at Gilbert for 14 years. I am married, and have 4 adult children. We have traveled to 13 different countries and have been truly blessed. I love tennis.
I am married to my wife Kelsey, and we have a “starter-kid” in our family. He is an affectionate and energetic golden retriever named Red — we’re learning a lot over here.
Kelsey and I met at 7TEN, the young adult ministry. We currently serve in 7TEN as RC leaders and it remains my ministry focus as a member of staff.
My story is one of an atheist that rejected God. I lived a life of being self-actualized and independent. This all changed when a tragic experience in my life made me feel completely powerless over my circumstances — upon reflection that was God’s grace to bring me to that point. I felt God pulling me towards him in a feeling that was unmistakably like a tugging of my soul. For the first time, I realized my need for dependency on someone much greater than myself and I found that in the person of Jesus.
I am pursuing a Masters Degree at the Missional Training Center (MTC) in Missional Theology. My hope is to get equipped in pastoral ministry, so I can become a teaching pastor and love people well.
On Being a Local Congregation of Redemption Church
REDEMPTION'S MULTI-CONGREGATIONAL STRUCTURE
Redemption Church is multi-congregational in structure. This means that a central governing body provides structure, direction, and support for the ministry of each local congregation. Local congregations, like Redemption Gilbert, are united and collaborative, but each has its own leadership and is free to contextualize its efforts. Click on the link below to learn more about the overall structure of Redemption.
We are a non-denominational church with a Reformed view of salvation. We believe that all of life is all for Jesus. We have been saved by grace through faith, which is itself a gift. That gift empowers us to be a transformed people who embody His redemptive power and participate in the renewal of all things.
We are a sent people. As the church we are not called to turn inward and build our own kingdom. We are called to turn outward and give ourselves to the spread of the Gospel, the establishment of healthy local churches, and the multiplication of disciples. This is a call to invest beyond our church, beyond our tribe, and beyond our generation.
We strongly believe that all members of the body of Christ are sent people, called to proclaim and demonstrate the gospel to the world. Therefore our community and global efforts should never be limited to structured programs. However, in response to the needs in our community, and God's heart for the nations, we do build global partnerships and facilitate opportunities to participate in God's mission of blessing the nations in Christ.
