What is Community & Global Initiatives?

We strongly believe that all members of the body of Christ are sent people, called to proclaim and demonstrate the gospel to the world. In response to the needs in our community, and God’s heart for the nations, we build global partnerships and facilitate opportunities to participate in God’s mission of blessing the nations in Christ.

Redemption Gilbert participates in many ways with programs and partnerships around the city, nation and globe but we have an intentional focus on:

Three horizons of ministry: Close, Near, & Far.

Close: Redemption Foster Care, Kinship & Adoption

There is an orphan crisis around the world. Children who have lost parents, been abandoned by parents, or been taken out of dangerous environments, are in need of stable homes and loving families.

The Book of James tells us that caring for vulnerable children is close to the heart of God. Therefore we, the people of God, must lead the way in recognizing this great need and stepping up to meet it.

This issue is very near to us. Arizona has a massive foster care crisis, with thousands of children in the foster care system. The state simply does not have enough homes to care for them all and they are asking for the church’s help.

M25 is a monthly collection based on the needs of our ministry partners. Each month, the items collected and the organization will change. M25 collections will generally be held on the first Sunday of every month.

OCTOBER COLLECTION—We will be focused on collecting items to construct M25 Redemption Care Packages. Partnering with local police departments, these bags will be distributed to those in our community who are experiencing homelessness.

Drop off your donations on Sunday, October 3, in the Worship Center Lobby or at any of our M25 carts

Connecting the needs from the community with the resources from our church family

HELPR is a partnership between four churches to serve the city of Gilbert and surrounding areas. Our team is connecting the needs from the community with the resources from our church family.
